The Start of their Show Journey and their Results

SHALFLEET SAROS "ROSSI"

Rossi's first show was the East Anglian Whippet Club Championship show under a breed specialist judge Louise Tope (Dewerstone Whippets) and what a start for Rossi, he behaved like a pro and won his class, after the baby girls were judged, he competed with the  beautiful best baby puppy bitch and won overall Best Baby Puppy in Show !!!

MUM - SHALFLEET BRIDGET JONES  "BRIDGET"

Bridget gave us 3 beautiful puppies in January this year, as they were all so beautiful we have kept all 3.  Shalfleet Saros "Rossi", the boy and Shalfleet Gabrielle "Gabbi" and Shalfleet Macy Gray "Macy" the girls.

Now they have reached 4 months of age they can compete in the Royal Kennel Club's organised shows and compete in the newly introduced "Baby Puppy" Classes, this is open to puppies registered with the RKC who are between 4 and 6 months of age.

Onto Rossi's 2nd Show

This time we travelled with his sister Gabbi to South Yorkshire Whippet Club show another Championship show.

Gabbi won her class under judge Rachel Hambling (Chaseover) and was Best Baby Puppy bitch.

Rossi won his class under judge Luke Sampson (Dapperdiva), both breed specialist judges and then beat his sister and was again Best Baby Puppy in show!!!

What a little Star.

Baby Puppy dog (3)

1st Wilton-Clark's Shalfleet Saros.  5 mos brindle with the super curvy shape and outline missing in so many males (and females) at present. Beautiful head and expression, good neck into smooth shoulders. Ribs carried well back, strong over the loin with a definitive rise, sweeping into strong rear quarters. Already a competent showman, handled to advantage, very sound on the move for such a youngster. BBPIS with the agreement of my co-judge.

SOUTH YORKSHIRE WHIPPET CLUB CH SHOW - Judge: Rachel Hambling

Baby Puppy 4/2  1) Shalfleet Gabrielle, (Wilton-Clarke) 5 months, red fawn brindle with a super dark eye, for me correct size at this stage. Everything in the right place . She shows great promise and won this class as she has her act together . Lovely outline and has muscle developing. One I shall watch with interest.

Baby Puppy Dog (1) Wilton Clark, Ms J, Shalfleet Saros. He may have stood alone, but there was no doubt he was a gorgeous baby boy who was an absolute star, especially considering the heat! Head and expression to die for. Well-laid shoulders, a very pleasing topline, and just overall a lovely whippity shape. On the move, he was sound as a pound and displayed a wonderful free-flowing movement with ease. Loved him. BBPIS

We bred Chilli to Shalfleet Toy Story and she produced a beautiful litter of which we have kept 2.  "Bean" Shalfleet Chilli Bean and "Oscar" Shalfleet Crackerjack

SHALFLEET CHIILI BEAN "BEAN"

This little character attended her first show at The National Whippet Association at 4 months old on the day.  She surprised us all by winning Best Baby Puppy in Show under well respected hound judges, Jackie and Michael White (Baldrey)

Hound Group 1: Wilton Clarke’s Shalfleet Gabrielle (Whippet). Beautiful Whippet puppy bitch with feminine head, super eye shape and lovely skull and underjaw. Elegant neck going into well laid shoulders with balanced return of upper arm and excellent feet. Lovely depth of chest for age with super curves, elegant top and underlines and balanced moderate hindquarters. Lovely daisy cutting typical action, free and sound in all directions. A quality whippet puppy who I was delighted to award the adult and puppy groups to, and one who has a promising future I am sure. She went on to take Best Puppy in Show.
