Samoems Silent Night at Shalfleet - 9 CC's

In 1979 Silent Night was imported from The Netherlands, the first time a breeder had brought in a foreign Whippet as it was felt he would be suitable for breeding, particularly as his dam was an exported Shalfleet bitch and his sire went back to the old Wingedfoot exports of the 1950s.

He went on to win nine CCs and the title of Top Whippet in 1980. Two of his sons were among the top winners for 1982, Ch Shalfleet Silent Wish and Ch Shalfleet Showman of Courthill.

One of the most important Whippet winners during the 1970s, winner of 15CCs as well as Hound Groups, making her one of the top winning bitches of all time.
