Shalfleet Saros  "Rossi"

5 Months

Rossi's first show was the East Anglian Whippet Club Championship show 2026 under a breed specialist judge Louise Tope (Dewerstone Whippets) and what a start for Rossi, he behaved like a pro and won his class, after the baby girls were judged, he competed with the  beautiful best baby puppy bitch and won overall Best Baby Puppy in Show !!!

CRITIQUE - Baby Puppy dog (3)  1st Wilton-Clark's Shalfleet Saros.  5 mos brindle with the super curvy shape and outline missing in so many males (and females) at present. Beautiful head and expression, good neck into smooth shoulders. Ribs carried well back, strong over the loin with a definitive rise, sweeping into strong rear quarters. Already a competent showman, handled to advantage, very sound on the move for such a youngster. BBPIS with the agreement of my co-judge.​

5 1/2 Months

Onto Rossi's 2nd Show, this time we travelled with his sister Gabbi to South Yorkshire Whippet Club show another Championship show.  Gabbi won her class under judge Rachel Hambling (Chaseover) and was Best Baby Puppy bitch.  Rossi won his class under judge Luke Sampson (Dapperdiva), both breed specialist judges and then beat his sister and was again Best Baby Puppy in show!!!

What a little Star.

CRITIQUE - Judge: Luke Sampson.  Baby Puppy Dog (1) Wilton Clark, Ms J, Shalfleet Saros. He may have stood alone, but there was no doubt he was a gorgeous baby boy who was an absolute star, especially considering the heat! Head and expression to die for. Well-laid shoulders, a very pleasing topline, and just overall a lovely whippity shape. On the move, he was sound as a pound and displayed a wonderful free-flowing movement with ease. Loved him. BBPIS

Suffolk KA - Breed Judge Jamie Pye - 2nd Wilton-Clarks Shalfleet Saros – 6 month old Red Brindle dog, Litter mate to first and a lot of similarities to like about them both. Nice head leading into a good front with lovely oval feet. Preferred the rear angulation of his litter sister. Stood and moved beautifully around the ring for a puppy so young. 

Judge: David Knights - AV Hound Puppy (4 entries, 2 absent)  1st. Wilton-Clark’s Shalfleet Saros (Whippet). 6 month old whippet male who was most together on the move of the two in this class. Love his head and expression with super eye shape and lovely flat skull and rose ears. Lovely length of neck going into well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm and excellent feet. Good depth of chest of age with good tuck up. A bit more angulation at the rear than I prefer but moved well with good reach in front.

Breed Judge: Tom Mather - Minor Puppy Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2926 WILTON-CLARK, Ms J Shalfleet Saros. Best Puppy Dog. Really appealed for type, size and balance. Still very much a baby but he put on a good show here. Elegant, curvy outline, with good depth of chest for one so young. Nicely knuckled feet. Moved well with a low, reaching action.
